Aleksey Yuriyevich Talashchuk
(born in 1944, Rovno, Ukraine),
The national artist of Russian Federation, rector of the St.-Petersburg
State Art-Industrial Academy, academician of the Russian Academy
of applied arts, academician of the Russian Academy of natural sciences,
professor, member of Union of the artists of Russia. Has ended a
Irkutsk art school and Leningrad Higher Art-industrial school of
I. A. Mukhina.
Work in State Russian museum, St.-Petersburg
Museum of Decorative-applied art, Moscow;
Museum of Decorative-applied art, Hungary;
Museum, Zagorsk; in private assemblies of Russia, USA, Argentina,
Italy, Germany, Sweden, Japan.
The artist lives and works in St.-Petersburg.
